Katie George is a multi-talented person who has earned an impact across a variety of industries. Jillian is an American screenwriter as well as a comedian and actor. A 'Groundlings' alumna who began training her skills in acting from the age of a child. Jillian was able to become one of the most popular comedians today. Jillian began her career on TV and then made a move to the silver screen. She wrote her first episode for Saturday Night Live. Jillian is most well-known for her role in Eastbound & Down. She's an extremely prolific voice actor. Her voice acting skills have been displayed in High School USA! Gravity Falls, SuperMansion. Jillian's voice was used in movies like The Angry Birds Movie (and Charming). Jillian did not know about The Groundlings before she finished her first year at the college. Her first-ever Groundlings show changed her life. After college, she became a member of The Groundlings in order to master the art of dance.

After studying improv at Chicago's Second City and Improv Olympic in the early 1990s, Poehler co-founded the improvisational-comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade.
